Most famous for his roles as the character of Man on the Street in Black on Lost, Silas Adams in Deadwood as well as Jimmy O’Phelan in Sons of Anarchy and the lead role in the television show Bosch.  Titus Welliver Net Worth is estimate to be around $5 million.

Welliver was born in New Haven, Connecticut. He was the son of Neil Welliver, was an internationally renowned American landscape artist who taught Fine Art in Yale University before becoming dean of the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Fine Art. His mother, Norma Cripps, was an illustrator for fashion.

Theyoung Welliver was a drama student in New York University in the beginning of the 1980s, before his TV and film careers began.


The Welliver’s story has been shaped by grief. His younger sister Ashley Welliver, passed away from sudden infant mortality syndrome while an infant in spring 1976.

His 38 year older stepmother Polly Mudge Welliver, passed away from a strep infection one month later, on the 29th of October.

His 21-year-old older brother Eli Lustman Welliver (7was killed in mid-May 1991, after an accidental overdose after being the heroin level spiked in a failed robbery in a bar near Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The 45-year-old older brother, Silas Welliver, was killed by muscular dystrophy , on the 16th of February in 2002 along with his 4th wife producer of the film Elizabeth W. Alexander, passed away from cancer of the breast on the 23rd of October in 2012.

Welliver has been involved in several films which include The Doors (1991), Mobsters (1991), Mulholland Falls (1996), Rough Riders (1997), Once in the Life (2000), Biker Boyz (2003), Twisted (2004), Assault on Precinct 13 (2005).

He has appeared in the entirety of Ben Affleck’s movies to date; Gone Baby Gone (2007), The Town (2010), Argo (2012) and Live by Night (2016). He also was cast in Michael Bay’s feature film Transformers: Age of Extinction in 2014.



On TV, he played regular roles as a doctor in NYPD Blue and was one of the actors on his own CBS Police comedy Brooklyn South. Additionally, Welliver is well known for his portrayal of the character who is semi-regular Silas Adams on the HBO series Deadwood.

Welliver was “The Representative” in two episodes of Prison Break, portrayed Kyle Hollis (a.k.a. The Reverend Orson Parker) in the NBC series Life as well as at the end of season five in Lost in the role of “Man in Black”, which he reprised in the final season.

In 1999, he was in the episode Touched by an Angel titled “The Occupant”, where the character was a man whom had been “occupied” by a demon. In 2002, Welliver was Tom Landricks, a rapist on Law and Order: SVU.

He first appeared on the FX series Sons of Anarchy midway through season two. the character is Irish gun Kingpin Jimmy O’Phelan. He began as the prosecutor Glenn Childs, a rival of Chris Noth’s character in the CBS show The Good Wife.

He was a part of on the cast of the zombie show The Last Ship in a part-time role for its initial two seasons as Thorwald, an infamous local warlord who fights under the surface in an ailing planet that is afflicted by a pandemic that has spread across the globe.


Welliver is the main character for The TV show Bosch that is produced by Amazon Studios. The show is based upon the books based on the character with the same name written by Michael Connelly.

The first season was made available via Amazon Prime Video on February 13 the 13th of February, 2015. The show was renewed for the seventh and finale on the 13th of February in 2020.



Welliver can also be heard as the narration for several audiobooks which include Robert B. Parker’s series of American western novels, Appaloosa, Brimstone, Blue-Eyed Devil and Ironhorse.

He has also been the narrator for several novels from his own Michael Connelly Bosch series of crime fiction novels. These include The Crossing, The Burning Room and The Wrong Side of Goodbye.

Personal life

Welliver was married 5 times. The marriages he had with Heather Wielandt, Hollywood talent agent Dani Sexton, and actress Joanna Heimbold ended with divorce.

He became widowed when the fourth of his wives, the film producer Elizabeth W. Alexander, passed away from breast cancer in the year 2012.

Thereis a daughter who is with Alexander and two sons who are with Heimbold. He got married to Jose Stemkens, a Dutch fashion designer and model, in the year 2014.  Welliver declared divorce of Stemkens in May of 2019.
